MUSIC MUSEUM

There are almost 100,000 musical documents (sheet music, scores, booklets, letters, print books and manuscripts) preserved in the library of the Bologna Music Museum.
A unique patrimony created by Father Giambattista Martini, a great scholar, theoretician and composer, who taught, among others, the fourteen-year-old Mozart.
The portraits of the great music, the unpredictable and famous musical instruments, such as the Clavemusicum Omnitonum of 1606, the originals of great music scores, a room dedicated to the golden age of Italian music, the 700 and its great interpreter Farinelli, Rossini and the original manuscript of the Barber of Seville, the tradition of lute Bolognese masters who continues to this day ... this and much more in one of the most beautiful museums in the world devoted to music, hosted in SANGUINETTI PALACE in Bologna.
